FAQ

How do I reconstitute a peptide?

1. Use room temperature bacteriostatic water.
2. When piercing the vial, hold the plunger of the syringe so the air-tight seal doesn’t blast the water onto the peptide puck.
3. Slowly run the bacteriostatic water down the inside glass wall of the vial to avoid foaming.
4. Gently swirl and roll the vial until dissolved. Never shake.

Store reconstituted vials in the refrigerator (2–8°C).

How much bacteriostatic water should I add?

It depends on the concentration you want. A common starting point is 1–2 mL for a 10 mg vial. Higher volume = lower concentration per unit. Always calculate based on your research protocol.

What if the solution looks cloudy?

Most peptides should dissolve clear. If cloudy after gentle swirling, allow it to sit refrigerated for 10–15 minutes and swirl again. Persistent cloudiness can indicate the compound has not fully dissolved or has degraded.

How should I store peptides?

1. Store vials in a sealed Tupperware-style container to protect from light and temperature swings.
2. Place the container on a middle shelf, toward one side of the fridge (halfway point), to reduce UV exposure and temperature variation.
3. Always keep vials standing upright to maintain integrity and help prevent leaks.

Lyophilised peptides can be kept cool and dry. Once reconstituted, refrigerate and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

How should I store peptides?

Lyophilised (unmixed) vials: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light. A refrigerator is ideal but not always required for short periods.

Reconstituted vials: Keep refrigerated at 2–8°C. Store vials upright in a sealed container (e.g. a small Tupperware) on a middle shelf of the fridge, away from the door and cooling vents, to minimise temperature swings and light exposure. Most reconstituted peptides remain stable for several weeks when stored this way.

What is the shipping time?

Australia-wide. Most orders ship within 1–2 business days. Free express shipping on orders $250+.

Is this for human use?

No. All products are for laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use. Not medical advice.
